Dawn Coulshed is an ever-evolving vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the highlands of Scotland.

After studying classical piano in Edinburgh she was swept into the London indie-folk scene where she released 2 EPs and toured as part of the duo ‘Evering’. As a solo artist Dawn released self-produced singles which had music blogs comparing her to Joni Mitchell and Maggie Rogers. Dawn’s arrangement of her own song ‘Sing for us’ was performed by the Roundhouse Choir as part of BBC 6 Music Festival 2020 in Camden, London.

Dawn returned to Scotland in 2021 to study jazz voice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Here she continued to explore improvisation and performed with several ensembles including the European jazz workshop as part of the Edinburgh jazz festival. The Glasgow charm and its buzzing music scene has inspired new music which Dawn is set to release in the coming months.
